I guess no one really explained to Arnold what exactly the point is for an audio commentary track .

Schwarzenegger laid down one for the Philip K Dick classic Total Recall (retitled from the “We Can Remember It for You Wholesale” short story), and instead of giving insight into the filming of the project, he bascially just did a descriptive track for the visually impaired. It is unbelievably funny to watch. It also sounds like the film’s director, Paul Verhoeven, was present at the time of the recording, interjecting his two cents, but didn’t bother to correct Arnold on the point of audio commentaries.

But at the same time, I think it would be great if Arnold did this for every one of his films, from Hercules in New York to Collateral Damage. It would be amazing. Hell, I’d just listen to it in the car or wherever I went. But check it out, it is awesome.

God Bless Arnold Schwarzenegger….
